Our Mission
Our mission is to produce an annual event for the purpose of education, networking and fun. We strive to dispel erroneous misconceptions of Paganism.
About Carolina Pagan Project
Neighbors, business owners, and families who've been gathering the Upstate's Pagan community for two decades. Carolina Pagan Project is a volunteer-run group with members from every corner of the Upstate and the wider Carolinas. You may know us by our old name, Carolina Pagans with a Purpose.
For about 20 years, in one form or another, we've worked to educate our neighbors about Paganism. The Pagan Pride Council paved the way, and SC Upstate Pagan Pride Day grew into the festival you know today as Carolina Pagan Fest.
We gather to network, to come together in harmony, and to clear up common misconceptions about Paganism. Above all, we want you to see that Pagans are ordinary people with jobs, families, and roots in the same community you live in.
Our team has also helped run Quirky Fest, Pagan Pride Day, Goddess Fest, and Earth Worship Weekend. Members run local businesses, drum circles, and more impactful ventures throughout the Carolinas.
